A symbol you'll begin to see a lot of on our branding and pages is the triskelion. It's a Celtic symbol that's thought to be one of the oldest in human history. Centuries of stories and meanings have accumulated over time, each of which can become personal to you. To me, the triskelion represents time and our evolution as people going through life and all of its beauty. It represents our three pillars: our past, our present, and our future, or I was, I am, and I will be.
Humanity loves to tell stories, and we base our decisions, sense of self-worth, aspirations, and desires on them, but the stories we tell ourselves about our past can sometimes become prisons. When you catch yourself saying, "I can't lose weight because I've never been able to" or "I'm just not a person who plans," that's the story of our past imprisoning us in the present and shrouding our future. Remember that everyone has a past, and that the past is exactly that—it is past us.
Bring your awareness to who you are in the present and remember your goals, aspirations, and desires today. When your awareness becomes focused on the present, you'll find yourself better able to plan for what you'll need to do to get to your future mind, body, friend, or lover. Use the Three Pillars and the Triskelion in moments of doubt to remember, "I was, I am, I will be," and find peace in your journey. Also, know that this cycle will repeat itself infinitely; learn to love that. The one who learns to love walking will always go farther than the one who loves the destination.
